Super Bowl LIX, the match between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, will be telecasted by Fox, which means announcers Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady will be on call along with sideline reporter Erin Andrews.
The sportscaster, a well-known journalist, is having a tough week heading to the big game.
During an interview with Athletech News, Andrews revealed she’s one of 38 million people affected by dry eye disease.
Erin Andrews discovered a prescription eye drop to alleviate her dry eye condition, which she plans to share with fans.
While Andrews deals with her condition, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will give their all to win Super Bowl LIX.
For those who haven’t followed her career closely, Andrews rose to fame as a sportscaster with ESPN, which she joined in 2004.
By 2012, she joined Fox Sports, eventually becoming the lead sideline reporter for Fox Sports’ NFL broadcasting team.
She gained even more of an audience after appearing third on the tenth season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
Erin Andrews Was Once Diagnosed With Cervical Cancer
Erin Andrews, a sideline reporter for Fox Sports and one of the most recognizable professionals in broadcasting, was one of the thousands of women diagnosed with cervical cancer.
It happened back in 2016.
Luckily, Andrews would have surgery a few weeks after her diagnosis.
She was so dedicated to her job that she would return to work just three days later.
Ever since then, she has helped raise awareness of screening and treatments for cervical cancer.
