BREAKING: Popular NFL Reporter Tragically Dies At Super Bowl 59 In New Orleans At Only 27-Years-Old

Adan Manzano, a popular sports anchor and reporter for Telemundo Kansas City who was set to cover Super Bowl 59, has tragically passed away at age 27.

On their Facebook page, Telemundo Kansas City announced in a statement that Adan Manzano passed away on Wednesday in New Orleans. Manzano was covering the Kansas City Chiefs-Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl 59 contest for Telemundo Kansas City and Tico Sports.

No cause of death was given, though Telemundo Kansas City said in the statement that they’re “cooperating with authorities” in the investigation:

The Sporting Kansas City soccer team’s communications X/Twitter account shared a statement on Manzano’s unexpected passing:

Tragically, Adan Manzano’s wife, Ashleigh Boyd, died in a car accident last April. The two had a daughter, who was in the car at the time and survived the accident.

Adan Manzano Was In Fifth Year At Telemundo Kansas City

According to his LinkedIn account, Manzano had been employed at Telemundo Kansas City since April 2021. He was also a freelance writer for La Semana del Sur in Oklahoma and spent over a year as a commentator for the Reyes Media Group.
