Stephen A. Smith is one of the most influential analysts in the world of sports today. He has many shows on many platforms, and people care about what the guy has to say. Of course, he doesn’t stay away from the touchy subjects either.
A couple of the many franchises Smith is in cohorts with are FOX Sports and ESPN. He has hosted numerous shows with the sports media giants, including Fox Sports Radio’s morning show and, more famously, The Stephen A. Smith Show.
As mentioned, Smith does not shy away from controversial topics on his show, and one of the most talked about topics recently has been the fact that Elon Musk, owner of X, Tesla, and SpaceX, is one of the members of Donald Trump’s administration.
Trump trusts the tech giant and entrepreneur to run a few things the right way, as do many people who have trusted his product for quite a while. Stephen A. Smith is weighing in on Musk’s role in the White House.
Stephen A. Smith Not Happy With Current State Of Politics

Smith told Fox News, “Let me tell you, I think the argument… I think the Democrats are really, really messing up when it comes to Donald Trump at this particular moment in time,” before continuing to make his point quite clear.
“I will openly confess, you know, Elon Musk… you know, he’s not born here, and they’re making this argument he’s not an elected official, he hasn’t been confirmed by the Senate… what they’re missing is that you messed up things so badly over the last several years, give the man a chance to see what he does,” he said.
While Smith may not have the most popular opinions, it seems he is showing a little faith in the entrepreneur turned White House official. With Stephen A. Smith backing Trump’s decision, it will be interesting to see how Musk does.
