Snoop Dogg got put in the dog house by Simone Biles’ mother.
“Snoop joined the Today Show’s” Hoda Kotb to interview the Biles family on Friday as they prepared to watch her compete in her third Olympic games.
During the interview, Hoda Kotb decided to point out that Simone Biles’ mother, Nellie, had a previous history with the legendary rapper.
“Snoop, I don’t know if you know this, but Simone and you have known each other for a long time. Right, Nellie?” Kotb revealed.
“How? How Nellie?” Snoop asked.
It was at that time when Nellie recalled when she and Simone were made to wait on the hip-hop star to get his autograph.
“I will never forget that we met you in Times Square. 2010,” Nellie Biles told the “Gin and Juice” rapper.
“And you said—’cause we asked for a picture—two minutes. One, two, and you were gone,” as Nellie laughed.
Snoop Dogg also laughed, and Kotb swiftly changed the subject.

Simone Biles was noticeably absent from Team USA’s boat entrance on the Seine at the 2024 Olympic Games opening ceremony, but the pro athlete had a good reason.
During that interview with Snoop Dogg, Nellie Biles told the “Today” show‘s Hoda Kotb, “The first [gymnastics] competition is Sunday, which is women’s qualifier and, of course, she needs to rest up before that competition.”
Simone’s highly anticipated return to the Olympics comes three years after she was forced to withdraw from the Games in Japan to focus on her mental health.
