Paige Spiranac Breaks Her Silence On ‘Sexual Favor’ Rumors

Golfer and social media influencer Paige Spiranac had a lot to say about a rumor about her.

Spiranac recalled the time she was accused of performing sexual favors to qualify for the 2015 Dubai Masters.

The golfer appeared on the Quiet Please! with Mel Reid and Kira Dixon podcast, part of iHeartMedia’s Women’s Sports Audio Network, and addressed her disappointing performance at the tournament.

At the time, she shot rounds of 77 and 79 to miss the cut.

“Yeah, that was the worst moment of my life,” Paige Spiranac said. “I’ll never forget that.”

During the interview, the 32-year-old former professional golfer relived a story that once brought a lot of pain.

“I finished college out and I didn’t know what I wanted to do. I always wanted to play professionally but mentally I couldn’t handle it… I ended up going viral, and this was back when people didn’t go viral all the time.”

“I went from 500 followers to 100,000 followers. So, I got this invite to play an LET (Ladies European Tour) event. I had just turned pro and had not played golf outside the country,” Spiranac continued.

“I show up and was doing hours of press… there were a couple of girls who were really supportive, but the majority, it was brutal. I would go on the range, and girls would scatter.

That is when she revealed she heard comments about her doing sexual things to get into the tournament.

“There were constant comments like ‘I did sexual favors to get this invite,’ within earshot I was listening to. It was tough,” she admitted.

The blonde is best known these days for her status as a model and influencer, in which she uses her own sex appeal to help promote products to her four million Instagram followers.
