Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was sweating profusely during his interview with reporters during the annual NFL Meetings on Monday.
NFL coaches, owners and executives have arrived in West Palm Beach, Florida, to discuss league business matters. At the meetings, they’ll discuss possible rule changes such as banning the “Tush Push,” adjusting the playoff seeding format and a possible 18-game regular season schedule.
Many eyes are on Mike Tomlin’s Steelers, who have met with free agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Though the new league year opened three weeks ago, there’s no timeline on when Rodgers will make a final decision on joining the Steelers.
Steelers reporter Mark Kaboly shared a video of Tomlin’s media scrum with reporters at Monday’s meetings. As you can see, coach Tomlin was sweating aplenty and looked awfully uncomfortable:
Fans had a lot to say about Mike Tomlin’s health status after seeing the video:
“someone get this man some A/C,” one fan wrote.
“Did Tomlin just eat some Ghost Pepper wings?” a user asked.
“Someone check on Mike Tomlin, this is excessive sweat lol,” a fan wrote.
“Why is he covered in so much sweat?! That’s not healthy,” quipped a fan.
“For being “comfortable” he sure is sweating a lot,” said another.
“Can someone grab this man a terrible towel!?” asked a fan.
Maybe Tomlin just finished up an intense workout session. Or maybe he ate something too hot like hot wings. Or maybe the air conditioning there isn’t working. Or maybe all of the above?
Either way, let’s hope Tomlin’s hotel room has some good air conditioning. We know it’s always hot in Florida, but Tomlin shouldn’t be sweating that badly.
Mike Tomlin Enters 19th Season As Steelers HC

Tomlin has coached the Steelers to a .630 winning percentage, two AFC championships and a Super Bowl 43 title. But his playoff record is a lackluster 8-11, with Pittsburgh last winning a postseason game in 2016. We’ll see if he can finally end the drought in 2025.
