President Donald Trump Didn’t Mince Words While Reacting To Joe Biden’s Cancer Diagnosis

Former President Joe Biden is battling an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer, his office announced on Sunday.

“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms,” his personal office said in a statement.

“On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.”

While the diagnosis, which Biden received on May 16, indicates the former president has one of the worst forms of the disease, it “appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management,” the spokesperson said in a statement.

Biden and his family are meeting with doctors and considering “multiple treatment options,” including hormone treatment.

Biden, who served as president from 2021 to 2025, abruptly ended his reelection bid in 2024. This came weeks after a halting performance during a debate against then-Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

In the meantime, President Trump has weighed in on the diagnosis.
