Air India’s crash was captured on video, showing the fateful events unfolding shortly after the aircraft left the ground.
One British passenger, Vivwash Kumar Ramesh, is the only known survivor at this time. He was seated in 11A and claims to have jumped out of the plane. He is receiving medical treatment.

Authorities Still Working To Determine What Caused Air India Crash

Indian authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash, with early reports suggesting that wing flap issues played a role. The United Kingdom and the United States have also deployed investigators to work alongside local teams.
The Tata Group, which owns Air India, has announced that families of each victim will receive $120,000 in compensation, while medical expenses for survivors will also be covered.
The tragic incident occurred at 1:47 p.m. local time on Thursday morning.
