While millions of dads across the country spent Father’s Day soaking up time with family or teeing off under the summer sun, one name in particular drew attention on the fairway: Donald Trump.
Criticism Mounts Over Trump’s Time On The Green

“The economy is crashing. Americans are watching their 401Ks turn into 201Ks. Grocery prices are through the roof. And what’s Donald Trump doing? Golfing,” one user wrote in a viral post. “Mr. President, get your ass off the golf course and face the people!”
Another added, “Trump is evidently not concerned about looking relaxed and rich at a time when so many Americans are fearful and frantic about the economy; his Truth Social account just shared a video of Trump taking a swing on the golf course.”
Financial concerns continue to fuel criticism. “$5 trillion in retirement accounts and investments erased and Donald Trump is… golfing,” a third post read. “But those billionaire tax cuts? The Senate is working nights and weekends to make that happen for him. Gotta have priorities.”
These reactions highlight the ongoing tension between Trump’s public image and the nation’s economic struggles. For many Americans grappling with inflation and volatile markets, the sight of their president on a pristine fairway doesn’t sit well.
Still, Trump shows no signs of slowing down. Back in 2012, he famously opened his golf course in Aberdeen, Scotland, and he’s continued to mix politics and putting ever since. If recent months are any indication, he’ll be back on the course sooner rather than later. Love it or hate it, Trump’s golf game isn’t going anywhere.
