A lucky collector pulled an extremely rare “1/1” Tom Brady football card out of a pack that had been hidden since 2007.
It’s one thing to outbid others for a special piece of sports memorabilia, but it’s another to get lucky and come across a “1/1” sports card. And that’s exactly what happened with a well-known collector who goes by “Bulldog Sports Cards”.
Topps recently shared a video of Bulldog Sports Cards opening up a pack of their football cards from a 2007 collection. During the live stream, he was thrilled to realize that he had come across a rare Tom Brady card that sat in the unopened pack for 18 years:
Congratulations to the lucky collector!
Just last month, another rare Tom Brady rookie card sold online at Lelands for $3,107,372.40; the auction opened at $750,000. The same type of card sold on eBay for $2.3 million at auction back in Feb. 2022, when he was briefly retired.
Tom Brady Is Set To Begin Second Season With Fox Sports

Last year, the 47-year-old Brady began the first season of a 10-year, $375 million broadcasting deal with Fox Sports. He works on the network’s top team with Kevin Burkhardt, who took over as their main play-by-play voice after Joe Buck left for ESPN in 2022.
Brady and Burkhardt will kick off their second season together on Sept. 7, though it remains to be seen which game Fox will assign them to.
