While enjoying a golf getaway this week, Trump couldn’t resist turning his time on the course into another round of digs at Former President Joe Biden. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, the US president boasted about his opening drive and made sure to turn it into a jab.
“Did you get to see my drive on the first hole? Pretty long, pretty long,” Trump said, according to Fox News. “That’s no Joe Biden, let me tell you. That’s not Biden, right? That was a good drive.”
Not The First Swing For Biden

This isn’t a new angle for Donald Trump. He’s turned Biden’s golf game, or what he believes it to be, into a running punchline.
Last year during a presidential debate, Trump took a swing at Biden’s reported golf handicap. A few weeks later, he doubled down while golfing with PGA pro Bryson DeChambeau. Trump’s disbelief at Biden claiming a six handicap became one of his favorite bits.
“He said he’s a six. I said, ‘You’re not a 60.’ He’s not a 60,” Trump said. “So I said ‘I’ll give you a million dollars if you can break 100.’ If you’re a six, you can break 100 easily. But he can’t.”
The jabs keep coming, especially as the campaign trail heats up. Trump has long used humor, and sometimes ridicule, as one of his main political weapons. Biden’s golf game, fair or not, just happens to be the latest in the firing line.
But Biden’s not the only one catching heat lately. Trump has turned up the volume on his criticism of Barack Obama in recent weeks, showing that his political aim isn’t narrowing, it’s expanding.
As Trump continues his summer rounds, his one-liner game will also be there. Whether it’s campaign season or tee time, Trump seems to always have a punchline ready, especially if it lands on Biden.
