Althoff’s ascent to internet fame was unexpected, and her decision to end ‘The Really Good Podcast’ comes as an even bigger surprise, with the Queen of deadpan set to walk away, having released what she claimed was her final episode on the last day of July.
“I didn’t know I’d fall off as quickly as I did,” she claimed, even singing “Hallelujah” during the mock funeral.
Bobbi’s rise started with a surprise interview featuring Drake, which went viral. Since then, she has landed conversations with other celebrities such as Shaquille O’Neal, Lil Yachty, Post Malone, and Nick Cannon.
The show brought in over a billion views and earned an iHeart Podcast Award for Best Emerging Show last year, although she was adamant that she “didn’t know how to podcast.”
Things began to tail off toward mid-2025, with engagement slowing down and her signature awkwardness seeming to bring out more annoyance than laughter. She shut it down in the way only she could, leaving her viewers feeling weirded out, then making them wonder if it was all an act.
Is Bobby Althoff Really Done?

Some fans believe Bobbi Althoff was taking everyone for a ride, but the two-and-a-half-year run could really be over. As she said, “I thought this was going to last a bit longer.”
Bobbi reflected on her podcast journey, discussing how her show helped her creatively and, of course, lined her pockets.
It will be interesting to see where she goes next, but whatever it is, we’re sure it will be cringey – or else it will make no sense…
