Social Media Is In Stitches Over Australian Breakdancer “Raygun,” Whose Goofy Breakdance Routine Broke The Olympics

Breakdancing is one of the newest sports in the Olympics. However, it is incredibly controversial, as many fans don’t believe that it should be an Olympic sport. Unfortunately, fans don’t have a say, leading to one of Olympic history’s most exciting sports.

Winning an Olympic gold medal is one of the most challenging things to do, and breakdancing is one of the most subjective sports in the world. We’re bound to have some exciting dances, and boy, do we have one today!

Social media is in shambles over one of the dancers chosen to represent their country at the Olympics. Breakdancer Rachael “Raygun” Gunn was selected to compete for Australia, and fans enjoyed her recent performance on the world’s biggest stage.

One could say the dancer is one of the sharpest at the Olympics. Some fans pointed out that her style was highly kangaroo-like, and others believe that Raygun has one of the best performance styles.

Raygun Shows Off Her Breakdancing To Mixed Reviews

One fan of Team Australia posted to X making fun of the dancer after her performance at the games with a gif of an old lady hopping!

Another fan was seemingly impressed with the performance, posting to X asking the judges to give her the gold medal with a video attempting to prove their point.

Another fan used the common videos being posted while adding that there is no way for them to laugh harder in 2024 after watching the performance. The user also said that Raygun is a 36-year-old college professor competing against teenagers.

This event only adds to the controversial nature of this year’s Olympics, as many fans believe that this performance proves that breakdancing is not an Olympic sport; however, it remains to be seen.
