Police in Arlington, Va., accused Logan Chrisinger, 27, of having shot and killed his mother, Travis Renee Baldwin, 57, inside a residence on Aug. 17.
Officers were called to the home on the morning of the 17th after a report of a shooting.
“Upon arrival, officers located an adult female inside a residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound,” Arlington County police said. “Officers administered lifesaving measures before medics transported her to a local hospital. She later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.”
Police described the shooting as a “domestic-related homicide.”

It is not immediately clear if Chrisinger has entered a plea or retained an attorney.
“What sadness … my Newsmax make up artist of 3 1/2 years, and years at [ABC] and [ESPN] etc. and a friend to all of her colleagues…was murdered over the weekend…she did my make up Friday for the show and of course I never dreamed that would be the last time I would see her…,” Van Susteren said in a post on X.
