Kylie Kelce revealed what she really thinks about Travis Kelce‘s engagement to Taylor Swift.
In an interview on Good Morning America on Sept. 5, the 33-year-old host of the Not Gonna Lie podcast shared that she and husband Jason Kelce are so “excited” to welcome the Grammy-winning singer, 35, to the family.
“We could not be more excited for them and what the future holds,” she said in the interview. “We love love, and we love Taylor and Trav.”
Kylie also shared her and Jason’s daughters — Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finn, 4 months — were also excited about the engagement news. “The girls are thrilled,” she said. “They’re so excited they’re getting another aunt.”
Kylie’s comments also come after she responded to Swift’s Aug. 13 appearance on the New Heights podcast breaking the record for most listened to podcast episode, which she previously held.
“Officially no longer the record holder for the most watched episode of the other podcast,” Kylie said on the Not Gonna Lie podcast on the Aug. 14. “There’s no way it’s even close, and I love that for me.”
Kylie added that she loved watching “the Internet break” over Swift’s appearance and although she knew she would most likely be dethroned, “I welcome that whole heartedly.”

After Taylor and Travis broke the internet with their engagement announcement, Jason shouted out the couple on the New Heights podcast on Aug. 26.
“Gigantic piece of ‘New News’ that just hit the waves,” he said in the episode. “We [recorded] this podcast on Monday, which was Travis’ one day off. So, he is not here to address this himself, but we felt it necessary as a team here at New Heights to get together and send Travis and Taylor a giant congratulations for being engaged! The proposal heard ‘round the world.”
How did Travis Kelce Respond to the Internet’s Reaction to the Engagement News?
On the newest episode of the New Heights podcast on Sept. 3, Travis spoke out about the engagement and thanked everyone for their support and congratulations after the announcement.
“It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with,” Travis said and opened up about the couple’s first outing at the Cincinnati-Nebraska college football game on Aug. 28.
“It was my first time introducing Taylor as my fiancée to a few of my teammates. It was pretty cool,” he recalled and noted that he still got “giddy” introducing her that way.
“It’s exciting times,” he continued. “It’s still fresh.”
Travis also took the opportunity to share his advice to anyone thinking about proposing to their partner.
“You can’t let how somebody else does it make you feel like you need to do it that way,” he said. “Know your partner. Know who you’re doing it for and do it for the right reasons. Everything else will be beautiful.”
