South Park has pulled reruns an episode parodying Charlie Kirk following the conservative personality’s killing.
Comedy Central will not be airing season 27 episode “Got A Nut” — which featured character Eric Cartman adopting the mannerisms of Kirk — in its linear rotation, PEOPLE can confirm.
On Wednesday, Sept. 10, hours after Kirk was fatally shot during a campus event at Utah Valley University, the network apparently pulled a rerun of the episode, according to The Arizona Republic and The Hollywood Reporter. Per the Republic, it was swapped with another episode from its most recent season.
Fans pointed out the change on Reddit, while a schedule shared by TV Guide also shows Comedy Central having skipped straight from episode 1 to episode 3 (“Got A Nut” is episode 2) between its 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. slots.
The episode remains available to stream on both Paramount+ and CC On Demand as of Thursday, Sept. 11.

In “Got a Nut,” Cartman finds himself at odds with classmate Clyde Donovan for “stealing my shtick” before he takes over his right-wing podcast and “masterdebates” those who don’t agree with his views. He eventually adopts Kirk’s real-life hairstyle, argues with women at live debates and falls short of winning the “Charlie Kirk Award for Young Masterdebaters” (and a free vacation).
After it aired on Aug. 6, Kirk called the episode “hilarious” and claimed it acknowledged his “viral, cultural domination” in a TikTok.
“Now, there’s going to be a lot said about this, but we need to have a good spirit about being made fun of,” Kirk said on Aug. 7. “This is all a success, this is all a win. We as conservatives, we have thick skin, not thin skin. And you could make fun of us, it doesn’t matter. And until next time, I hope all of you become ‘masterdebaters’ for truth.”
The latest season of South Park has also notably featured spoofs of President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Homeland Security Secretary Krisi Noem — who the series depicted gunning down dogs and mocked her facial features. She later called the show “so lazy to constantly make fun of women for how they look.”

Kirk, who was 31 at the time of his death, was speaking at a student-sponsored event with his non-profit organization Turning Point USA around 12:20 p.m. local time on Wednesday, Sept. 10 when he was shot.
According to the Utah Department of Public Safety (DPS), he was pronounced dead hours later after being taken to Timpanogos Regional Hospital. Officials said the shooter, who is not currently in custody as of Thursday morning, is believed to be a college-aged male who used a “high-powered bolt action rifle” to shoot Kirk from the roof of a campus building.
Several political figures, including Trump and former President Barack Obama, have issued statements following the shooting.
