Kelli Moore has certainly been through a lot.
Ex-Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore’s wife, Kelli, spoke a thousand words with her latest actions.
On December 10th, the married father-of-three’s world came crashing down. He lost his job as head coach of the Wolverines due to an ‘inappropriate relationship’ with Paige Shiver. Moore than made it worse by getting arrested over an alleged assault in the space of a dramatic few hours.
Moore was arrested after allegedly entering Paige Shiver’s home after his firing. He was charged with three crimes: felony home invasion, stalking, and breaking and entering. Prosecutors said Moore is accused of grabbing butter knives and a pair of kitchen scissors. He then threatened to kill himself at the house of the woman with whom he reportedly had a relationship.
All of this can be quite embarrassing for the woman he married and had kids with. Despite how she might feel about Sherrone Moore internally, she seems to have his back. Moore was in court on Thursday and showed a united front with his wife. Kelli held her husband’s hand as he arrived in court for a probable cause hearing on Thursday in Michigan. However, Kelli did look pissed off as he smiled alongside his lawyer.
It seems that they have worked on their marriage, and she has chosen to keep the relationship intact. Nobody can claim that Kelli Moore isn’t loyal.
Sherrone Moore Gets Next Court Dates
Former Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore appeared in a Michigan courtroom on Thursday for a probable cause hearing. The 39-year-old did not speak as his attorney, Ellen Michaels, sought a 30-day adjournment to gather additional discovery. She told the judge she was seeking the accuser’s phone records and Title IX documents from Moore’s former employer, per PEOPLE.
The lawyer believes that statements made by Moore’s accuser and other evidence could call her credibility into question. As for the prosecution, they would not object. A hearing on the motion has been set for Tuesday, February 17, 2026. It has been set for an in-person hearing.
Depending on the result of the motion, there may be another date set. Judge J. Cedric Simpson adjourned the probable cause conference to March 19, 2026.
While Sherrone Moore is free on bond, he has to wear a tracking device at all times.
