VIDEO: Team USA Flag Football QB Darrell Doucette Is Untouchable, May Actually Be A Better Option For The Olympics Than Patrick Mahomes Based On His New Highlight Clip

Many people think that Darrell Doucette, the quarterback for Team USA flag football, is crazy for saying that NFL players will have to try out to make the team for the 2028 Olympics.

However, flag football and tackle football are two completely different games, and Doucette might have just shown why he could give players like Patrick Mahomes or Lamar Jackson a run for their money.

A recent video with the caption “What NFL player is pulling Team USA QB Darrell Doucette flag?” shows Doucette’s serious elusiveness.

Many people online are now arguing on whether or not Doucette should stay as the starting QB for the Olympics,

“5v5 flag football is not like real football at all. I’ll be interested to see how NFL players actually want to play after learning the rules,” said one commenter.

“With world class athletes and hand eye. I think it could take about 2-3 months of practice as then I bet They could beat this guy,” said another about Doucette.

“I’ve been saying this everywhere. People don’t realize how different the game of flag is to NFL. It takes a good amount of time to adapt and I think the Olympic team will be a mix of nfl and comp flag players,” continued a third.

“He not completeing a single pass against nfl DBs in this setting. So he must gon run every play,” a fourth added.

He has at least now shown that he could be a very good option for Team USA and might just know how to play this specific version of football better than NFL players.

Darrell Doucette Made Noise Calling Out NFL Players

Doucette recently made headlines by calling out NFL players who think they are guaranteed a spot on the Team USA flag football team.

““We just don’t think they’re going to be able to walk on the field and make the Olympic team because of the name, right?” he said about NFL players. “They still have to go out there and compete.”
