Ben Affleck couldn’t contain his happiness while getting food delivered to his Brentwood, Calif., rental home days after his estranged wife, Jennifer Lopez, filed for divorce.
According to photos obtained by Page Six, the “Gone Girl” actor grinned as he grabbed his Jack In the Box meal from a delivery person who pulled up in a white car on Saturday.
Affleck, 52, wore a blue Nirvana T-shirt, jeans and sneakers to collect his food and drinks.
On Tuesday, Lopez filed to end her marriage to Affleck after just two years.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the “Selena” actress cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and listed the date of separation as April 26, 2024.
Lopez, 55, also waived the right to spousal support and asked the judge to deny her estranged husband the same.
The “Gigli” co-stars did not have a prenup in place, meaning that any income or property accrued during their marriage can be considered “community property” and can be split equally.
A friend of Lopez exclusively told Page Six that she did everything she could to save their marriage but claimed Affleck “has a darkness to him.”
A separate source told us that problems between the former couple started during their honeymoon in Italy.
“He was unhappy with paparazzi following them. She is an international superstar, and he acted like it came as a surprise that they would be followed around,” the insider told us.
The source also told us that, when the pair wasn’t in the public eye, they “would barely speak to each other during what was supposed to be the happiest time of their life.
“He sold her on him being a changed man, and that lasted a very short time.”
While the mom of two and the “Argo” star spent most of the summer apart, he has made time for new friends.
Page Six exclusively reported that Affleck has been spending time with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s 36-year-old daughter, Kick Kennedy, recently.
The two were seen hanging out at the Polo Lounge of the Beverly Hills Hotel and other hotspots.
Lopez and Affleck eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022 and had a lavish wedding in Georgia the following month.
The Oscar winner is dad to kids Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, whom she shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
The “I’m Real” singer is mom to twins Max and Emme, both 16, with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
