Two GOATS walk into an arena.
Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history, was introduced to Caitlin Clark, one of the greatest collegiate basketball players of all time, on Wednesday.
Biles attended Clark’s Indiana Fever game against the Connecticut Sun at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis, Ind.
Biles, 27, and Olympic track and field star Gabby Thomas, also 27, greeted Clark, 22, and her teammates after their 84-80 winning game, according to a video posted to her team’s official X account.
“The squad was ecstatic to meet Simone Biles and Gabby Thomas after our win at @GainbridgeFH,” the WNBA team captioned the video.
In the clip, Biles was seen warmly hugging Clark and congratulating her on her victory that night.
“Hi guys,” Clark told the Olympians, to which Biles replied, “It’s so nice to meet you.”
Biles was taken aback by how excited the Fever teammates were to meet her and Thomas.
“Usually the boys will just pass me like, ‘Yo,’ but they were so excited. That was so cool,” Biles laughed.
The 4-foot-8-inch athlete re-posted the video to her own X account to show her support for Clark and all the women in the league.
“EVERYONE WATCHES WOMENS SPORTS 🫶🏾 so happy to be able to go support! my first of many WNBA games 🤞🏾,” Biles wrote on X Wednesday.
Fans naturally went crazy over the meet up, with one person commenting on Biles’ post, “Olympic GOAT with future #WNBA GOAT😍😍.”
Another added, “Greatness meeting greatness!!! Love the support and love in these photos!!!”
Thomas also expressed how excited she was to be in the arena, writing on X Wednesday, “First WNBA game of many! Had so much fun supporting these stars 🙌🏽.”
The professional runner won three gold medals after competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics Women’s 200 meter race, the women’s 4×100 meter relay and the women’s 4×400 meter relay.
Biles, for her part, won gold medals in the team finals, the individual all-around finals and the vault finals at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She also earned a silver medal for her floor routine.
After her several Olympic victories this year, Biles became the most decorated gymnast in history with a total of 11 Olympic medals and 30 World Championship medals under her belt.
Meanwhile, Clark is highly regarded as one of the greatest women’s basketball players of all time after becoming the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer during her time on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The point guard, who is credited for helping popularize women’s basketball and even helped break ESPN viewership records, was the WNBA’s No. 1 draft pick and was selected by the Fever in April.
