NFL Network’s Peter Schrager has finally delivered the prediction everyone has been waiting for.
Schrager must have the attention of bettors around the globe, having been spot-on with his Super Bowl predictions for five straight years. Whether he can make it six is left to be seen, but the predictions are here nonetheless.
The sportscaster has picked the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl 59 at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome next February.

Peter Schrager May Be Going Out On A Limb Here
Of course, it’s not that hard to pick the Chiefs, given that they have won back-to-back titles and went to four of the last five Super Bowls. But history also suggests that they won’t win the next one, as no team has won three straight since the 60s. Even the New England Patriots dynasty failed to do so with Tom Brady at the helm.
That said, the Chiefs have returned most of last season’s cast and boast a superstar quarterback in Patrick Mahomes. But they will need plenty to go their way if they are to achieve what many think is improbable.

The Packers, meanwhile, impressed last season, shocking everyone after dumping the Dallas Cowboys out in the first round of the playoffs. They appeared to be well on their way to beating the San Francisco 49ers, too, before losing control of the game.
A run to the Super Bowl does seem a bit out of their reach at the moment, but they have added a formidable running back in Josh Jacobs, who could make all the difference.
Jacobs will especially love Peter Schrager’s prediction as he only recently revealed having rejected a move to Kansas City while expressing his desire to beat the Super Bowl champions because he considers them his bitter rivals.
