It’s Selena Gomez’s time to shine.
On Monday, the 32-year-old actress and singer walked the red carpet at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival premiere of her new movie “Emilia Perez” wearing a black sequined gown.
The sparkling Rodarte design ($2,850) featured a playful peplum detail at the waist along with a strappy neckline that was then embellished with a large flower pin.
While Gomez walked the red carpet, posing for the cameras, she revealed Tiffany & Co. jewels and a pair of strappy black Santoni heels, which peek through her dress’ thigh-high slit.
Her glam for the night was also on the classic side, as she wore her long brown hair in a wavy blowout and had it parted to the side.
Although she kept her makeup minimal, Gomez did opt for a bold red lip, which popped against her otherwise dark ensemble.
“Selena looks like a younger Classic Hollywood Star back in the day..😍” someone commented on Gomez’s stylist Erin Walsh’s Instagram after she shared a video of the look.
“the glamorous! she was destined to be a movie star ✨” another wrote.
The “Only Murders in the Building” star definitely appears to be sticking to a new signature style when it comes to the red carpet.
Back in August, she attended the premiere of her hit Hulu show wearing a sparkly black mini dress which featured a sweet bow detail at the chest.
After being named a billionaire thanks to her Rare Beauty brand, Gomez appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair, where she revealed some news about her future, sharing that she is unable to carry her own children due to her lupus diagnosis.
“I unfortunately … have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy,” she told the publication. “That was something I had to grieve for a while.”
However, she went on to note that she’s in a “much better place” now and “there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption,” two possibilities she’s considered.
