VIDEO: Josh Allen Sends Heartwarming Message To Tua Tagovailoa After QB’s Frightening Head Injury During Dolphins-Bills Game

The Buffalo Bills rolled the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football, but that became a footnote to what happened to Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, and Josh Allen made sure to mention him.

Tagovailoa was ruled out of the Miami Dolphins’ matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night after suffering a concussion in the third quarter.

Trailing by 21 points and facing a fourth-and-4, Tagovailoa scrambled up the middle to move the chains, and while he did get the first down, he was also struck by Bills safety Damar Hamlin.

After falling to the ground, Tagovailoa struggled to get up. His arm went up, and then he rolled over while holding his helmet.

Tua Tagovailoa’s teammates knew something was wrong and went to his aid while others called for the medical staff.

Tagovailoa eventually walked off the field on his own. A few minutes later, the Dolphins officially ruled him out with a concussion.

Players on both teams expressed their concern on Thursday night for the Dolphins quarterback, and that included Josh Allen, who was invited to the Thursday Night Football desk to speak after his stellar game.

Week 2 of the NFL season featured a highly anticipated Thursday Night Football matchup between two AFC East rivals.

After the game, Bills quarterback Josh Allen was among those concerned about Tagovailoa’s well-being.

“If you know Tua outside of football like I do, you can’t help but feel for him,” Allen said on the Prime Video postgame show. “He’s a great football player, but he’s an even greater human being. He’s one of the best humans on the planet. I’ve got a lot of love for him. I’m just praying for him and his family and hoping everything is O.K.”
