On Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Washington Commanders 30-23, which was entertaining. Of course, the Ravens put on an offensive showcase, and apparently, Commanders safety Percy Butler felt left out.
At one point, the Ravens scored a touchdown, which left tight end Mark Andrews and quarterback Lamar Jackson celebrating in the endzone. It was a simple celebration with them jumping and bumping into each other in the air.
It looked to be completely normal until social media users noticed Butler standing behind Jackson and laying his hand on his butt while he was jumping.

He was likely just trying to make sure Lamar didn’t land and fall back into him, but social media still had a field day with it.

“Let bro cop a feel he’s wearing socks anyway,” said one comment.
“Percy being a FREAKAZOID,” said another.
“percy butler a freak,” added a third.
“Ref should have thrown a flag for this,” a fourth joked.
This just goes to show that social media can make fun of anyone for anything, no matter what their intention.
Percy Butler Has Been Dropping On The Depth Chart
Butler was the Commanders’ fourth-round pick in 2022. As a rookie, he was mostly known for his work on special teams.
However, in his second year, he started 13 games for Washington and played 82% of the team’s defensive snaps.
Unfortunately, that number has quickly dropped in 2024. He has seen just 44% of the Commander’s defensive snaps and has gone back to playing a lot of special teams.
Pro Football Focus ranks him as the 119th-best safety out of 135 who qualify, so this move doesn’t seem surprising.
