Deion Sanders has completely changed the game for every school he has coached. One of the biggest aspects of that has been his ability to be an elite recruiter and bring players to schools they otherwise wouldn’t consider.
The latest example of that could be five-star quarterback Julian Lewis.
Adam Gorney, the national recruiting director for Rivals and Yahoo Sports, has confirmed that the five-star quarterback will visit Colorado this weekend.

The Colorado Buffaloes will be taking on the Cincinnati Bearcats, who each boast a 5-2 record and could be on the verge of being ranked with a big win.
This is all a significant development because it has been over a year since Lewis initially committed to the University of Southern California in August of 2023.
This is also the first time that he has visited the campus. On January 27, 2024, Lewis took an unofficial visit to Colorado.
If Sanders can get Lewis to join the Buffaloes, it would be one of the biggest flips he has been involved in since getting two-way star Travis Hunter to recommit from Florida State and instead attend Jackson State.
Deion Sanders Can Offer Julian Lewis Immediate Playing Time
USC has Miller Moss, who has solidified his position as the team’s starter and still has two years of eligibility left after the season.
Of course, Colorado’s starter, Shedeur Sanders, is a projected top-10 pick in the NFL Draft, and Deion would immediately look to fill his role.
That gives Lewis an amazing opportunity to compete for it as a true freshman. As a top-10 quarterback recruit in the country, he should be capable of doing just that.
Other major schools that offered Lewis a scholarship include Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, and Notre Dame.
