Jake Paul made a curious admission, which fueled speculation that his fight with Mike Tyson was fixed.
The two stars headlined a massive Netflix event on Friday night that most found underwhelming, with Tyson looking his age and Paul unable to take advantage.
However, Paul claims to have pulled punches as he didn’t want to hurt Iron Mike by knocking him out.
“Yeah definitely,” he told reporters after being asked whether he took his foot off the gas during the fight. “Definitely a bit. I wanted to give the fans a show but I didn’t want to hurt someone that didn’t need to be hurt.”

Jake Paul’s Comments Confirms It For Fans
Fans did not appreciate Paul’s comments, suggesting he more or less confirmed what they had been thinking all along.
“Which tells you it’s not boxing, it’s a circus act,” someone wrote in the comments.
“Or it was in the contract , no knock outs, why where there 14oz gloves,” another wrote.
“It’s dishonourable to say this sort of thing. He sold a fight and should have fought to the best of his ability,” said a third.
“If he was in a position to choose whether to knock out his opponent then he should fight someone younger,” a user added.
@paddypower is this grounds for match fixing? Can I get my money back?
