The boxing world has always been full of controversy, from bitten ears to questionable decisions. But now fans have got a whole new kind of drama brewing after Jake Paul’s win over Mike Tyson. Former WBC champion Tony Bellew isn’t happy about what he spotted during the fight, and he’s not keeping quiet about it.
Bellew, who knows a thing or two about boxing after being a world champion himself, noticed something fishy about the gloves both fighters were wearing. He claimed Paul wore special puncher’s gloves called Grants, while Tyson had on heavily padded ones.
“The gloves Mike has on are looking heavily padded while Jake has on Grants which are full on punchers gloves! There is a huge difference in them gloves and I’m only watching from a bed!”

The drama actually started before the first bell even rang. Bellew got kicked out of the press conference for trying to give Paul his next opponent. But what he saw during the actual fight from his bed got him fired up enough to take to social media.
What makes this whole thing even more interesting is that despite the alleged glove advantage, Paul couldn’t knock out the 58-year-old Tyson. ‘Iron Mike’ lived up to his nickname and stayed standing through all eight rounds. That’s pretty impressive for a guy who hasn’t had a professional fight since 2005 – back when Paul was still watching Disney Channel instead of boxing in it!
Former NFL Star Has An Open Challenge For Jake Paul
The worlds of football and boxing have been crossing paths more often these days. Athletes are jumping from one sport to another, trying to prove themselves in new arenas. Now, former NFL star Le’Veon Bell wants a piece of the action after watching Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson.
Bell, who used to run through defensive lines like they were made of paper, has been quietly building his boxing career since hanging up his cleats. The former Pittsburgh Steelers superstar has been putting in real work in the ring. After watching Paul’s victory over Iron Mike, Bell decided it was time to shoot his shot.
“JAKE PAUL FIGHT ME,” captioned Bell on X.

To back up his challenge, Bell posted a video of himself landing a clean right hand that sent his opponent crashing to the canvas. It’s a far cry from his days of scoring touchdowns, but the athleticism is definitely still there.
