Former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce is taking on a new role as he debuts his late-night comedy show.
Kelce recently revealed in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE that while the show, titled “They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce,” will be filled with comedy, he won’t be the one doing all the heavy lifting.
“We have a bunch of really funny writers who are going to make the show funny, because I certainly can’t,” Kelce joked.
Kelce’s approach to the show is rooted in his desire to create an environment where fans can engage with the game and its players in a relaxed setting.
As for the content, Kelce promised an exciting lineup of guests, including NBA legend Charles Barkley, NFL analyst Brian Baldinger and rapper Dave Burd, also known as Lil Dicky, according to Action News’ John Paul.
The show will also feature Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce, who will make appearances as part of the act.
“It’s definitely nerve-wracking, but also exciting,” Kelce admitted.
“They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce,” produced by NFL Films and ESPN, will premiere on ESPN this Saturday and will run for five episodes.
With his upcoming show, Kelce proved that he is eager to entertain and connect with fans in a new way.
