LA Rams QB Matthew Stafford’s wife shares health update after daughters were hospitalized before playoff game

Kelly Stafford, the wife Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, revealed one of their daughters was battling illness throughout Monday night’s Wild Card game.

The Staffords, along with the Rams fanbase, were forced to travel to Glendale, Arizona after the NFL relocated the Wild Card playoff matchup against the Minnesota Vikings away from SoFi Stadium due to the deadly wildfires ravaging Los Angeles.

However, the family’s trip to yet another scary turn of events over the weekend when their daughters were shockingly hospitalized on Friday night.

Kelly, who has been married to the Super Bowl winner since 2015, and their daughters – twins Sawyer and Chandler, 7, Hunter, 6 and Tyler, 4 – soldiered on to cheer on their dad at State Farm Stadium Monday night.

However, it appears that not everyone had made a full recovery. Kelly revealed Tuesday that one of her girls had been vomiting throughout the Rams’ 27-9 victory.

‘This girl. In the middle of her pukes in the bathroom, “Mommy, are we still winning,”‘ Kelly wrote alongside a picture of her daughter being cradled by her dad after the game. ‘She couldn’t wait to be in his arms.’

The former college cheerleader added another photo to her Instagram story showing the little one wrapped in a coat and lying in Kelly’s arms on the floor.

‘Fun to watch my guy, but damn are we glad that game is over,’ the mother-of-four added.

Kelly had revealed that she and her daughters had to be taken into hospital over the weekend when she shared a photo showing two of their daughters lying in a hospital bed.

While she didn’t share more details about her daughters’ hospitalization, she did suggest the need for medical care stemmed from an illness the family had been suffering with throughout the past week.

‘Found our happy place in AZ. I promise we are happy, just still [ill],’ Kelly assured in another post, shared Sunday afternoon.

Kelly had even suggested that she and her daughters could move out of their family home in order to protect her husband from the disease with the playoffs looming.

‘I can’t think straight, I currently believe I have the flu,’ she said on the January 7 episode of her Morning After podcast. ‘Two of my daughters have the flu.’

She also revealed that she felt she couldn’t move while attending the Rams game against the Seattle Seahawks last weekend.

‘I passed out on a little bench in the suite,’ she explained. ‘We had all of our friends in town and I was a real downer. Body aches are serious.’

‘If all my kids have the flu, I don’t think we should be in this house with him,’ she added, speaking about the signal caller.

The Rams playoff game was moved from Los Angeles to Arizona after the league was forced into action amid the tragedy unfolding in the Californian city.

Deadly fires tore through the ritzy enclave of Pacific Palisades and rapidly spread through the City of Angels, killing five and displacing thousands, over the past week.

Kelly, who resides in Hidden Hills with Stafford and their daughters, took to social media to share a heartbreaking message.

‘These fires are truly terrifying. Praying for all the fire fighters and their loved ones,’ the mother-of-four posted to her Instagram story. ‘Yes, homes and structures are important, but never more important than a life. Please stay safe.’

In another post, she shared a video showing the devastation the blazes have left in their wake, writing: ‘Watching this over and over because it doesn’t seem real.’
