The Detroit Lions are America’s sweetheart and continue to do things the correct way.
The perennial losing franchise is getting set to start their playoff run this weekend, but before that happens, they are going viral for an interaction online.
TikTok creator Madison Peltzer recently shared a video of her son, who, according to his mother’s caption, is an insanely large six-month-old who weighs a whopping 31 pounds.
The Detroit Lions’ social media team made things hilarious when they immediately responded with “Dibs.”
The biggest player on the team right now is 6-foot-9, 330-pound offensive tackle Dan Skipper. This baby has some time to grow, but it looks like he might be around the same measurements when it is all said and done.
For now, the Lions will be focusing on their big playoff game on Saturday.
The Detroit Lions Getting Set For Matchup In Divisional Round
On Saturday, the Detroit Lions will face the Washington Commanders in the Divisional Round of the playoffs at Ford Field.
As the No. 1 seed in the NFC bracket of the playoffs, the Lions are playing Washington, who are coming off a last-second victory over the Tampa Bay Bucs to secure their first playoff victory in nearly 20 years. These two teams last played each other in Week 2 of the 2022 NFL season. Detroit won that one 36-27.
Detroit earned a first-round bye after winning a franchise-record 15 games in the regular season.
The Lions, who earned a second consecutive NFC North title, are looked at as one of the few teams that can go all the way and possibly win the Super Bowl.
