Patrick Mahomes’ Final Gesture After Chiefs-Texans Game

After Patrick Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to victory in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, he made sure to show his appreciation to the fans with an awesome postgame gesture.

Mahomes was sensational in the game, completing 16 of his 25 passes for 177 yards and one touchdown. He also had seven carries for 14 yards, helping the Chiefs fend off the Texans and take the 23-14 win.

With the win, Mahomes remains undefeated in the divisional round as the Chiefs’ QB1, increasing his record to 7-0. Kansas City also booked its seventh straight AFC Championship game in the process.

Following the game, the Chiefs superstar shared a moment with the fans, giving them high-fives before he headed to the locker room. He also stopped and surprised a young kid by giving him his game-worn sweatband.

Fans absolutely loved his gesture, with many heaping praise on him and his performance.

“Receiving the sweatband from Mahomes has made that little boys dreams come true. He’s ecstatic,” a commenter wrote. Another one said, “Such a Class Act. That kid will sleep with that headband tonight.”

As Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs move on to the AFC Championship game, they will certainly be happy with the fact that they will still play at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, where fans are expected to come out and rally for them once again.
