It felt like a perfect night.
Travis Kelce proved “that he indeed is the #1 Swiftie” while being interviewed after the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over the Houston Texans on Saturday.
While in the locker room at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., a reporter asked Kelce, 35, “Feeling 25 again?” With a big smile across his face, he quickly responded, “22, baby. 22.”
The tight end’s response was a clear nod to girlfriend Taylor Swift’s 2012 song “22” from her “Red” album, and many Swifties were quick to pick up on the reference while reacting on X.
“He’s down bad,” one commenter wrote, while another said, “definitely a Swiftie.”
“Omg I love that!!!” a third netizen commented.
The subtle tribute to the “Cruel Summer” singer came after Swift spent her evening in a suite at the stadium, cheering for Kelce and applauding his many accomplishments on the field during the playoff game.
During one particular moment — when Kelce caught a touchdown in the fourth quarter — Swift was seen jumping up and down before hugging WNBA star Caitlin Clark.
The 35-year-old pop star, who was decked out in more than $22K worth of Chanel, was also spotted reaching out to Kelce’s dad, Ed, and giving his hand an enthusiastic shake.
Along with Clark and Ed, the “Bad Blood” singer watched the big game with her mom, Andrea, dad, Scott, and brother, Austin.
The Chiefs went into Saturday’s game after having several days off. They previously clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC, giving them extra time to prepare for their matchup against the Houston-based team, who knocked out the Los Angeles Chargers last weekend.
Along with getting some time off, the Chiefs also earned home-field advantage due to their high seeding.
