Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has been quiet about his dating status throughout his career, but recent news broke that the NFL star is engaged to longtime girlfriend Bry Burrows.
Hurts first revealed his relationship status during an April 2023 interview with Essence’s Danyel Smith. The couple later released engagement photos to Essence in Sept. 2024 as Hurts is ready to settle down with his future wife.
“[The proposal] included a violinist, candles, and red roses strewn about,” Essence’s Victoria Uwumarogie wrote on Sept. 13. “We also get to see an intimate moment, with the two holding each other, looking out into the ocean.
“… Burrows, who is an AI partner for IBM, met Hurts while they were studying at the University of Alabama; she a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., he the school’s star quarterback and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. They’ve dated on and off since then and went public with their relationship in 2023.”

Off the field, Hurts seems at peace with Burrows by his side. Hurts admitted that he has a strong feeling about his girlfriend.
“I knew a long time ago,” Hurts told Smith. “I mean, to this point in my life, that’s an irreplaceable feeling. I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now.”
Hurts still prefers to keep a low profile on his relationship. The Eagles star’s Instagram page is mostly filled with posts about football and business partnerships.
