Shedeur Sanders has been branded “a Giant” following a curious interaction with head coach Brian Daboll ahead of the East-West Shrine Bowl this week.
The former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback is tipped to be a top-five pick in April and has been linked with both the Giants and the Raiders ahead of the NFL Draft. He has also dropped a few hints indicating his preference, which have been enough for fans of both franchises to predict his arrival.
Sanders, one of the best QBs in college football last season, is in Texas for the bowl game and was seen sharing a handshake with Daboll.

The interaction was all a certain fan needed to see to convince him that the QB is New York-bound.
“Lol, Shedeur is a Giant… a dap like that is all I needed to see,” he wrote as the caption for the part of the clip showing the interaction between the coach and QB.

“Should’ve known it was a lock after this,” someone wrote in the comments, sharing an older video of Shedeur throwing passes to Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers on a New York street.
Shedeur will try to exert some control over where he ends up. His father, Deion Sanders, who was also his head coach at Jackson State and Colorado, has made it clear that there are certain teams his son will refuse to play for.
While the signal-caller is at the Bowl and will meet with NFL teams, he won’t play in the game.
