Jason Kelce hints at when Chiefs star Travis could retire from the NFL

Jason Kelce has given fans an insight into when Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce could call time on his NFL career, which would be a major bombshell for the sport.

Kelce is currently preparing for the huge AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills which means the comments from his brother won’t be of any concern, but Jason was on late-night ESPN coverage when he shared some insider knowledge.

“I’m kinda torn. I wanna be there for the Eagles, I also wanna be there for my brother, I don’t know how many more he has,” Jason said on ‘They Call it Late Night.’

“So we’re kind of flying by the seat of our pants. We might be able to see both of us here again hopefully.”

Could Travis Kelce retire this season?

There has been a lot of speculation about Travis’ career and whether a defeat against the Bills could actually wind up being his last game. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has remained tight-lipped on the situation.

“I have no idea,” Mahomes told Kansas City’s 96.5 FM. “He hasn’t said anything to me if he’s thinking that.

“I know he signed a two-year extension before the season and he seems like he still loves football, but he also has a great life as well. Either way, I just appreciate every single time I step on the field with that guy, knowing he’s a true legend of not only the Chiefs, but the NFL. If it’s his last game, let’s go out there and get him a win. If it’s not his last game, let’s go out and win anyways, huh?”

The Chiefs are currently facing a third successive Super Bowl and their fourth triumph in five years, which would be a stunning achievement and perhaps the perfect time for Kelce to call time on his career.
