The streets of Philadelphia turned into complete chaos after the Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs during Super Bowl 59.
Philadelphia erupted in celebration last night following the Eagles’ second-ever Super Bowl victory. This time, they got much-needed revenge against the Kansas City Chiefs two years after their last showdown.
Fans flocked downtown in team jerseys to celebrate the team’s stunning defeat of the Chiefs.
As with anything related to the Philadelphia Eagles, many of the fans were not on their best behavior.
One piece of video from the streets showed two guys who had a serious enough issue to where they had to settle it with violence.
One shirtless fan and another with a shirt on started exchanging punches on the streets of Philly.
Their brawl would lead them to a white vehicle. Unfortunately, someone was in there, and it wasn’t just a regular fan.
It was a police officer in an unmarked vehicle.
He was forced to blow his cover by cutting on his lights, which immediately stopped the fans from fighting.
Instead of jail, he allowed those Philadelphia Eagles fans to walk away.
Philadelphia Eagles Fans Got Themselves Arrested
Dozens of people were arrested in Philadelphia after fans took to the streets to celebrate the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory.
ABC reported that Philadelphia police had nearly 50 arrests following the Eagles’ win against the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans on Sunday.
Five people were arrested for assault on police, two arrests for aggravated assault, one for recklessly endangering another person, and one for misdemeanor disorderly conduct in the third degree, police said.
