Navy Seal Who Killed Osama Bin Laden Reveals Dark Epiphany He Had About The Washington Redskins Before His “One Way” Mission In Afghanistan

Robert O’Neill, one of the members of SEAL Team SIX who took part in the operation to kill Osama Bin Laden in 2011, has recalled the sinister epiphany involving the Washington Commanders he had before the mission.

The former Navy SEAL flew to Afghanistan before heading to Pakistan with the team and killing the al-Qaeda founder after he was located in a compound in Abbottabad.

O’Neill was a recent guest on OutKick’s ‘The Ricky Cobb Show’ and revealed he had a pretty dark thought pertaining to the team and the upcoming NFL Draft as he was hoping Washington, then the Redskins, would draft an offensive tackle but realized he might not even be alive by then.

“I remember watching the NFL draft. And I was on a treadmill, thinking that the [Washington] Redskins needed an offensive tackle,” he recalled.

“Then I realized, ‘It doesn’t matter for me, I guess. I’m gonna be dead next week’.”

The Washington Commanders Made An Excellent Draft Choice In 2011

As it turned out, the operation was successful, while the Commanders ended up drafting a stud in Ryan Kerrigan.
