19-year-old influencer Tijana Radonjic fell to her death after going into a sudden panic and unbuckling her harness while parasailing in Montenegro.
The Serbian, who was on vacation, plunged over 160 feet into the Adriatic Sea in Budva last Wednesday, according to local news outlet Republikka.
The shocking incident was also caught on camera. It shows the teenager frantically undoing her straps before flipping upside down and disappearing from view. It wasn’t immediately clear why she decided to unstrap herself while at that altitude or how long into the flight it occurred, but local sources have suggested she may have suffered a panic attack.
The owner of the parasailing company, Mirko Krdzic, said Tijana was in a great mood before she left.
“Before we set off, she waved to her friends on the beach and they waved back,” he said. “Everything seemed fine. We don’t know why she unbuckled her seat belt and harness and jumped out.”
“I guess she didn’t do it consciously, but in a moment of uncontrollable fear.”

Witnesses claim they heard Tijana Radonjic screaming and asking to be put down moments before falling.
Her lifeless body was eventually recovered from the water.
“We are all in shock after the accident that happened … I do not know exactly what happened,” Krdzic said.
He added that the victim didn’t show any fear of flying and went through training before the incident.
“She did not show any fear of flying,” he explained. “She underwent training after which the tragedy followed. Technical inspections of all the equipment are underway and the results of the autopsy are awaited.”
Authorities are investigating Tijana’s death.
