The woman who earned the name Phillies “Karen” on Friday night was photographed with her shameful prize in her bag after hounding a poor kid for a home run ball. She didn’t appear to have any regrets, as she was seen laughing.
The incident, which went viral on social media, occurred after Harrison Bader hit a home run into the left-field stands, sending fans scrambling.
One man walked away with the ball and gave it to a young boy, whom we assume was his son, but he was chased down by a female Phillies fan, who began berating him until he eventually handed the ball to her.
“You took it from me,” she insisted. “That was in my hands.”

The woman was later seen having a laugh, with the ball shown nestling in her transparent bag.

Fortunately for the kid, the Marlins made an apologetic gesture, handing him a gift bag.
“This is for you, I’m so sorry,” a member of staff was heard saying. The boy was also invited to meet Bader, who gave him a signed bat.
So all’s well that ends well. Karen got to keep her ball, while the kid got a much sweeter deal.
