Unfortunately, her face is going to be looking quite different for a few weeks.
Cargill was busted open pretty badly Friday night when Nia Jax sent Jade flying into the steel ring steps. The impact created a deep gash above Cargill’s left eye.
Like the star she is, she would go on to finish the match and get her payback when she delivered a Samoan Drop to Jax on the very steps that cut her open.
Jade Cargill is taking her injury in stride as she took to social media and posted her gnarly injury that left her bloodied and opened up.
It was earlier this year when Cargill suffered multiple wardrobe malfunctions during WrestleMania.
WWE Has a Weird moment During Nia Jax–Tiffany Stratton–Jade Cargill’s Match
On a recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Cargill competed in a triple threat for the WWE Women’s Championship.
Nia Jax hit a Samoan Drop to Cargill onto the steel steps, which left her busted open. That wasn’t the only issue with the match.
The main event featured WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton defending the gold against Jade Cargill and Nia Jax in a triple threat match. One of the stories going into this match is that Stratton is the only WWE wrestler on Raw or SmackDown who is still undefeated in 2025.
That almost ended when Cargill hit her with the Jaded finisher late in the bout, but Jax broke up the pin attempt.
Jade Cargill then tried to pin Jax in the ring, but as the ref started to count the pin, they would suddenly stop the count at two even though Jax didn’t kick out.
WWE official Daphanie LaShaunn publicly addressed the fan backlash, taking to her Instagram story to issue a statement addressing the mistake.
“I see all the love. I’m just human, but I can promise that I strive to always be better. Which will forever be my goal as long as I’m on this journey. I love this just like y’all. That I can swear to you.”
