Simone Biles’ highly publicized gameday appearance Saturday may be one of the few Soldier Field cameos the star American gymnast makes this NFL season.
In a “get ready with me” video posted Monday on her TikTok page, Biles — married to recently signed Bears safety Jonathan Owens — explained that due to her commitments with the upcoming Gold Over America Tour, she doesn’t know how many games she’ll attend.
“I’m not sure how many games I’ll be able to make because, in a few weeks we go on tour, and if you guys aren’t aware, I host the Gold Over America Tour, and I think right now we’re doing about 32 stops,” Biles told her 5.3 million followers.
The Gold Over America Tour features dazzling performances from prolific gymnasts, with the team boasting Olympians Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera, Paul Juda, Frederick Richard, Brody Malone and more
The tour kicks off in Oceanside, Calif., on Monday, Sept. 16, and wraps on Sunday, Nov. 3, in Detroit.
The Gold Over America Tour will visit Chicago on Sunday, Sept. 29, the same day Owens and the Bears host the Rams.
Owens is entering his sixth NFL season and his first in Chicago, with whom he signed a two-year deal in March.
He spent the 2023 season with the Packers, something Biles highlighted on a personalized jacket worn Saturday at Soldier Field for Chicago’s preseason win over Cincinnati.
The style caused an uproar amongst some NFL fans given Chicago’s storied rivalry with Green Bay.
Biles, who wed Owens last year, seemed unfazed by the chatter as she posted a handful of pics modeling the jacket Sunday on Instagram.
It’s been a wild few weeks for the 4-foot-8 gymnastics phenom, who won four Olympic medals — including three golds — at the Paris Olympics.
Biles, 27, reached the top of the podium in the team and individual all-around final, as well as the vault. She won the silver medal in the floor exercise final, bringing her total Olympic medal count to 11.
