Network Insider Leaks Jason Kelce’s Massive Salary At ESPN, And The Figure Will Blow Your Mind

Jason Kelce’s massive salary at ESPN has been revealed.

Kelce got a television deal almost immediately after retiring, following 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. The former offensive lineman was one of the most sought-after talents, having already established himself as a popular podcast host. His status as one of the more likable NFL players certainly did no harm.

The six-time All-Pro has been popping up just about everywhere since joining ESPN. And as you might imagine, he’s being paid quite a lot of money.

According to The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand, the former Eagles star is on a three-year deal worth $24 million with the network, having accepted ESPN’s offer as they were the highest bidders for his services.

Jason Kelce Is Making More On TV Than He Did Playing

To put the above into perspective, Kelce averaged less than $7 million per season as a player over his 13 years in the NFL. According to OverTheCap, he didn’t start making over $8 million a year, even as a Pro Bowler, until the last five years of his career.

$24 million over three years is quite a deal, especially as he doesn’t have to risk life and limb every week. What’s more, Kelce doesn’t even have to broadcast live on NFL Sundays or work on shows like ‘First Take.’

Of course, his ESPN duties should grow over the length of his contract, but so should his salary.

Meanwhile, the former Eagles star will be in New Orleans to watch his old team play his brother Travis Kelce’s team in the Super Bowl on Sunday. He has already revealed who he’ll be rooting for.
