VIDEO: Jason Kelce breaks his silence on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown after smashing a Penn State fan’s phone over a homophobic slur

ESPN analyst and former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce addressed the cell phone smashing incident with a heckling fan on Saturday.

Jason Kelce was at the Penn State-Ohio State contest in Happy Valley on Saturday. While he was walking about, cameras caught a heckling fan going up to Jason and calling his brother Travis a f****t.

A provoked Jason smashed the fan’s cell phone to the ground and said, “Who’s the f****t now?” A video of the incident is available below, but be warned that it contains language that will disturb some viewers.

During today’s edition of “Monday Night Countdown” at Arrowhead Stadium, Kelce addressed the incident and expressed regret over what transpired:

Penn State police are investigating the incident between the Eagles legend and the fan, who has not been publicly identified.

Jason Kelce Has The Perfect & Powerful Message

Regardless of who you think is at fault here, Kelce should be applauded for owning up to his words and actions and apologizing on live television. One can argue that he should have handled the matter a lot better, but the fan was completely out of line for using a homophobic slur (in the year 2024, really?) towards his brother.
